Jay has been involved in hospitality technology for the past 15 years, specializing in hospitality software educational programs and custom web development. He has a B.S. in Hotel Administration from the University of New Hampshire and many years of hotel operations experience.
For over a decade his passion has been on the creation of highly interactive asynchronous eLearning courses focused on hospitality related topics. He is a hotel person in the eLearning space, passionate about "best practices" and skilled in creating training with real world impact. His team has created dozens of courses for most of the major hotel companies, ranging from hospitality sales skills, to PMS system usage, as well as over 130 hours of content specific to the many Newmarket applications.
Jay and his team have focused significant energy researching and designing custom web tools for hospitality professionals. Hospitality sales web site optimization, lead capture, function space presentation, direct booking web services, and social media optimization strategies, have been the prevalent concentration areas.
