THE SCORE PROCESS
The SCORE assessment is conducted by a Newmarket International consultant and consists of four phases:
- Prepare
A kickoff call to outline the assessment components, identify appropriate participants, and request materials. - Investigate
A series of interviews across the organization take place to capture current business processes. Depending on the scope of the engagement, interviews may be conducted with members of executive management, regional sales teams, call centers, and property-based teams. Appropriate team members will participate in the interviews to provide insight into their understanding of and adherence to your standards. - Analyze
Data gathered during the interviews is compared to Newmarket International's recommended best practices. Your score is calculated and a prioritized set of recommendations for improvement is compiled. - Review
The findings and plan are reviewed with the business sponsor. A comprehensive report is provided that can be shared with the organization as you implement the plan.
At the completion of the process, your entire organization is united in understanding where you stand today and the path to improving your rank among your competitors in the marketplace.
